Panos STAFYLAS
Panos is the Scientific Director of HealThink, with long-standing experience in Medicine, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and Digital Health. A cardiologist by training, he holds an MBA in Healthcare Management with a focus on pharmacoeconomic modelling and a PhD in cardiovascular risk factors. His professional background combines clinical practice, health economics, and strategic input in national and European HTA initiatives.
He has led the scientific coordination and evaluation of complex digital health and integrated care projects at the European level, and contributed to the development of HTA methodologies for innovative interventions. At HealThink, he provides strategic and scientific support across the entire lifecycle of pharmaceutical and medical technology products, from evidence generation to reimbursement.
Alongside his consulting work, Dr. Stafylas is actively engaged in academia, teaching HTA, pharmacoeconomics, and modelling in postgraduate programs at leading Greek universities (Medical Schools of Athens & Thessaloniki, University of Macedonia). He is frequently invited to speak and moderate at national and international conferences on HTA and digital health policy.
