Dr. Dafni Kaitelidou is a Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Director of the Center for Health Services Management and Evaluation, President of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Health in Greece (ODIPY) and National Representative of the OECD Health committee (2008-2014 and 11/2019 to date).

With more than 25 years of experience in public health, her research interests include the areas of Health Care Management, Health Policy, and Quality Assurance and Improvement in Health. She has participated in more than 80 research projects, has received research grants as Principal Investigator by national, European, and international funds and has published more than 300 research papers in international-scientific journals with more than 5,500 citations (h-index:34, i10-index:81). In the last five years, her research work has mainly focused on the study of barriers related to the access of the vulnerable groups of the population to the health system, health systems’ financing and health inequalities, the health services’ evaluation, quality assurance and improvement in health and health services management.
